Camping at Runningman Festival

Stay in the heart of the action with on-site camping at Runningman Festival. Bring your own setup or upgrade to a ready-made glamping tent for a full weekend of movement, recovery, music, and community.

Stay on the Runningman Festival Grounds

Camping at Runningman allows you to experience the full three-day festival without leaving Kingston Downs. The campground is located inside the festival grounds, within the infield of the track, placing you close to the race, workouts, recovery sessions, and other activities.

Every attendee staying in the campground must have a valid ticket and complete the festival check-in process.

Self-Supported Camping at Runningman

A self-supported camping plot is included with every three-day Runningman pass. We provide the space, but you are responsible for bringing your own tent, bedding, shade, lighting, and other camping supplies.

The self-supported camping area is mostly grass, and we recommend bringing a canopy, pop-up gazebo, or another shade structure. Campers typically use a space of around 20 feet by 20 feet. But there is flexibility because of the size of the camping area.

Camping Check-In and Check-Out

Festival check-in begins at 12:00 pm on Friday. Once you have checked in, you may choose an open campsite in the self-supported area, and begin setting up.

Official check-out is at 12:00 pm on Sunday. Campers should aim to pack up and clear their sites before noon, although flexibility may be provided until 2:00 pm.

Campground Facilities and Amenities

The Runningman campground includes the basic services you need for a comfortable festival weekend.

Restrooms and Showers

Restrooms are available 24 hours a day. Premium shower trailers with hot water are also available for campers throughout the weekend.

Drinking Water

Multiple water refill stations are located throughout the campground and festival grounds. Bring a reusable water bottle or hydration pack to stay hydrated throughout the weekend.

Security and Medical Support

Overnight security patrols help maintain a safe campground environment. Emergency medical technicians remain on-site for the entire festival weekend.

Charging and Internet Access

Electrical charging stations and WiFi are not available in the campground.

Pack backup battery packs for phones and small devices. Campers who need internet access should plan to use a personal hotspot through their mobile phone.

Campground Quiet Hours

Quiet hours begin at 12:00 am and continue until 6am in the morning. Campers should keep noise to a minimum during this time so everyone has a chance to rest and recover.

Camping With Friends

Camping plots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Friends and groups can set up campsites together without making a separate reservation. To secure neighboring campsites, we recommend checking in and entering the camping area at the same time.

There is no set limit on the number of people or tents allowed within your camping setup, provided everyone has a valid festival ticket and has checked in.

Upgrade Your Weekend With Glamping

Runningman offers ready-to-arrive glamping upgrades that are fully set up before you reach the festival. Glamping tents are located in a separate area from the self-supported campground. Each glamping tent includes beds, mattresses, sheets, pillows, and blankets.

Queen Bed Private Glamping

The Queen Bed Private Glamping package includes a private tent with one queen-sized bed. It can accommodate one or two people.

Two-Person Private Glamping

This private tent includes two twin-sized beds and accommodates two people.

Four-Person Private Glamping

This private tent includes four twin-sized beds and accommodates up to four people.

Shared Glamping

Shared Glamping includes a twin bed within a shared four-person tent. Solo attendees are placed in a same-gender group with other solo festivalgoers. It is an easy way to stay on-site, meet new people, and avoid bringing a full camping setup.
